SALT-Studying And Learning Together
We have completed our Advent study of Matt Rawle’s The Redemption of Scrooge.
Sunday, December 31st we will continue with our study of Brennan Manning’s The Ragamuffin Gospel. We pick up with Chapter Ten The Victorious Limp.
Since Epiphany is Sunday, January 7th, the greens should come down after the service. If you are available to assist in the Retiring of the Greens please stay after the10:30am worship service.
5. On January 7th SALT class will have a special class to celebrate Epiphany. Epiphany: to show forth, a revealing moment, insight.
For those who have not previously attended an Epiphany gathering it is an event to celebrate the arrival of the Magi in Bethlehem and to bring forth a gift of your own. At our Epiphany gathering you are invited to bring with you something special to share with others. This is not a gift to give away but a gift to share with others. Share why it is special to you. It may be something meaningful to you either from the past or from recent times.
As Charles Dickens wrote in completing his classic, A Christmas Carol
“I will honor Christmas in my heart and try to keep it all year”.
