Galatians 5: 22-26 Fruit That Sings
The Spirit did not come to preserve what was. The Spirit came to breathe life into what could be.
This summer, we explore what it means to be Resurrection People in ordinary time. Together we will ask what it means to become communities of courage, compassion, justice, joy, and hope. Like those first disciples, we are invited not simply to remember God’s work but to participate in it. We are still alive. And we are still singing.
Series Goals
● To carry the energy and movement of Pentecost into the ordinary season of life and discipleship by exploring how resurrection continues to shape who we are, how we live together, and what we create with God.
● Respond to the call of Pentecost which is not the end of Easter. It is resurrection becoming embodied community.
● Remember that we are not simply keeping church alive. We are accepting the invitation by God and the Spirit to live as if we believe we are still alive and we are still singing a new song.
CALL TO PRAYER: God of grace, enliven within us the Fruits of the Spirit, so generously given. May they shine in our relationships: love, joy, peace, kindness, generosity, faithfulness, gentelness, and self control. May the Spirit that unites us, the Redeemer who frees us , and the Creator who constantly makes all things new guide us in all of our days.

For those new to the Methodist Faith, and for those who would like a refresher and update!

We will watch episodes of “The Chosen” as we share our meal and discuss how we live as Resurrection People in our world.

June 13, 5-6:30 pm
For thousands of years, the space where we prayerfully gather today was under the care of The Wabanaki, meaning People of the Dawn. Their presence in this region is remembered and woven into the history of our community.
In honor of Native American Ministries Sunday, and every day, we are encouraged to participate in repairing the past harm and moving forward with awareness and respect, celebrating and embracing the contributions of the First Americans.
