Sunday Worship Services are online until further notice.
Because of the corona virus pandemic and the Town of Brunswick’s ordinance on 3/23/20 for all folks to stay home and continue social distancing, Pastor Sharon is asking that everyone stay home unless it is absolutely essential to go out for food, medications, and other necessities. In light of this ordinance, and that of Gov. Mills, we will not gather face-to-face again at church until we receive further guidelines from the Town of Brunswick, the State of Maine, and from our Bishop Sudarshana Devadhar.
Pastor Sharon will continue to livestream our worship service on Facebook on Sundays at 10:30 a.m. with the assistance of Nick Schroeder only, so please invite family members, neighbors, and friends to join in. It is imperative that our Praise Team and Media Team practice social distancing as well, but we will be able to livestream musical selections into the service. This is a work in progress, folks — stay tuned, stay positive, and stay hopeful. Better days are indeed coming because “his steadfast love toward us, and the faithfulness of the Lord endures forever. Praise the Lord!” (Ps 117)
Log into Facebook to livestream our worship service and ask to “join group” (if you haven’t already) so that you can worship online with BUMC on Sunday morning.
We would like to offer our sincere thanks to all who are supporting the ministries of BUMC, especially during the pandemic. We are ever grateful to those who support our church family with their weekly giving, and especially to those new to our on-line worship services who are offering their support as well. All donations, no matter the size, make a difference in the lives of those in need. Thank you!
